Lily Allen thanks her fans for all the love they sent to her during her delivery.

Singer Lily Allen has offered thanks to her fans after the birth of her first child, reports NME.

Allen, who has not yet released pictures of her newborn child, said she was "very touched" by the public response.

She wrote on her Twitter page: "Thanks for the flowers and messages of love. This is indeed very touching."

Remember that Lily Allen has given birth to her first child, a daughter, last month (November 25). A source revealed that the birth went very well.

The singer had written on Twitter shortly after birth, her baby was wonderful.

Allen was formally announced her pregnancy during her marriage to Sam Cooper in June.

Seven months before the artist had suffered a miscarriage at six months of pregnancy. It was not her first miscarriage, then she had already lost a baby in 2008, while attending Ed Simons.

Lily Allen is paused the music industry, but she expected to return to her work this year, revealing that she already bored of the scene.

Me, bump and pumpkin: Lily Allen shared a spooky picture of herself, which showed off her huge baby bump, on Twitter today

She's been taking it easy ahead of the arrival of her child with husband Sam Cooper.

But today Lily Allen shared a picture of herself which showed her ever-growing bump in all its glory.

The 26-year-old singer posted the shot on her Twitter page, with the caption: 'Me, bump and pumpkin, i did it last night during x-factor.'


Holding her newly-carved pumpkin, which featured an owl design, Lily looked radiant as she posed for the photograph.

Lily is due next month and recently celebrated the impending arrival with a baby shower held by her friends.

She tweeted earlier this month: 'En route to baby shower, bit scared!'
Lily has been using Twitter to update her fans about how she's doing during the pregnancy.

Earlier this year, Lily revealed she was less than impressed when husband Sam dubbed her his 'little Fat Controller'.

She wrote: 'My husband just called me his "little Fat Controller" - like off of Thomas the Tank Engine, so not LOL.'

And last week Lily tweeted fans that she is experiencing Braxton Hicks, known as false labour, which can begin up to six weeks before the birth.

Lily, who tweets as MrsLRCooper, wrote 'Weetabix' on Sunday, before adding on Monday: 'Toni Braxton Hinda Hicks.'

Lily, who lives in Gloucestershire with Cooper, whom she married in the summer, has often said her dream is to live in the country and have babies.

In a recent interview with ES magazine, Lily extolled the virtues of living in the countryside, and revealed she has turned into something of a domestic goddess.

She said: 'I’m happiest in the kitchen, leafing through an interior design book, sticking recipes in my scrapbook, cosying up to the Aga, stroking the dogs, fielding phone calls from tradesmen.

Meanwhile, Coleen Rooney also took to her Twitter page today to share a picture of her son Kai, who turns two on Tuesday.

Posting a shot of the tot dressed up as Frankenstein, Coleen wrote: 'Little Frankie!!!!'

Lily Allen Hospitalized with Septicemia

In breaking celebrity news, singer Lily Allen, who just recently experienced the heartbreak of a second miscarriage, was rushed to the hospital over the weekend with a condition called septicemia, also known as blood poisoning. The ailment is potentially life threatening. Her publicist told the U.K.’s Daily Mail that she is “responding well” to treatment.

Allen suffered a miscarriage last week. She was carrying a baby boy whose father is Sam Cooper, and the loss came almost three years after a miscarriage that occurred during her relationship with musician Ed Simons. Allen plans to venture into the fashion industry by opening a vintage clothing shop with her sister Sarah. There is no word on whether her recent health problems have affected that project, a London boutique called Lucy in Disguise.

Lily Allen Stressed Over Modeling for Chanel

British singer Lily Allen recently told British Elle magazine that she was not confident when she recently shot an ad campaign with Chanel, one of the world's top fashion industry labels. Her ad campaign was in support of Chanel's handbag collection, and she says her nervousness came from not looking like a model.

Allen, 25, is expecting a child with boyfriend Sam Cooper, and she said she was convinced that Karl Lagerfeld had made a mistake when he called her about doing the campaign for the top fashion designer. "I'm not a model so a Chanel shoot is an intimidating process because I'm very aware that I don't look like Lara Stone or Kate Moss."
