Do not take issue with it. Instead, simply point out that art is a matter of personal opinion and that the world would be a boring place if we all agreed on what is beautiful and artistic. After this is said, move on. If your interlocutor insists, I suggest that you politely let them know that they really need to spend their energy looking for art that they like rather than waste their time and yours.
