VERSACE PRE-FALL´11 Collection returns to the house´s icons. When Donatella was contemplating Vanitas, the new Versace Bag Collection, which manipulates elements of the house´s history, thought that it was time to bring back the baroque, reinterpreted in a new way. Now the elaborate curlicues that were once so emblematic of Gianni's tenure are more abstract. Fluted skirts that echoed the influence of dance played against superstructured jackets, a silver python parka lined in red mink, sequined shift printed with a leopard and baroque mash-up pieces, balloon sleeves in silk blouses and leather biker jackets, a revamp of J.Lo's infamous jungle-print dress... What can i say? All of you know I LOVE Versace
