ACTRESS SIGOURNEY WEAVER made an embarrassing slip-up on U.S. TV on Wednesday - by accidentally flashing her underwear to millions of viewers.

The Alien star was appearing on daytime talk show The View, sitting on a row of chairs with hosts BARBARA WALTERS, WHOOPI GOLDBERG, JOY BEHAR, SHERRI SHEPHERD and ELISABETH HASSELBECK.

But none of the presenters noticed when Sigourney, wearing a short blue dress, accidentally uncrossed her legs - leaving her knickers exposed to the studio audience and TV viewers.

Sigourney continued her appearance on the programme unaware of the incident.
