Vera Wang is taking a break from catering to the younger crowd with her Princess fragrances to welcome back in the simplistic, but established mature woman that she reached out to in her earlier fragrances. Look can be described as a vibrant floral with a touch of musk (a fruity floral for the mature woman perhaps?) In comparison, the first two Vera Wang scents were more subtle and soft. This new scent is a cousin with a touch more personality; a bit more striking, yet refined and sophisticated. Even the bottle is simple classic, but edgey unisex. When I wore this, I instantly thought of Philosophy's Amazing Grace which is in the same floral with musk family. The top notes don't last long and the drydown and bottom notes linger wrapping you in the vanilla, musk, oakmoss and patchulli. If you are into the likes of Philosophy's Amazing Grace or Carolina Herrera's 212, you'll be sure to like this new juice from Vera Wang. Purchase it here.
