Home bound: Cheryl Cole was pictured arriving at LAX to catch a flight back to London
She said recently that while Los Angeles is where she works, home is most definitely in England.
So with Christmas just around the corner, Cheryl Cole was spotted arriving at LAX airport to catch a flight back to London this weekend.
The singer, 28, received VIP treatment at the airport, met by airline staff who carried her luggage and travel documents through the terminal.
Cheryl was in high spirits, smiling as she chatted to the greeter who met her at the curb.
The Parachute star has said she is looking forward to a quiet Christmas at home.
Her festive plans? 'Just family, dinner and dogs,' she said in a recent interview.

Cole may just be roasting the turkey and peeling the potatoes herself, too. 'I can do a full Christmas dinner,' she recently revealed. 'I find it quite therapeutic.’
Cheryl boarded her flight prepared for the frosty weather waiting for her at the other end.
She was dressed in leopard-print leggings and boots and bundled up in a cream fur jacket.

The former X Factor judge arrived back in the UK on Saturday, and tweeted, 'There's no place like home.'
But she certainly wasn't settling in for a night watching the X Factor final.
Cheryl admitted recently that she 'hasn't watched' this year's series, after departing the UK version herself last year and a brief stint on the US series.
