Fail safe look: Kate Winslet gets a helping hand from Carnage co-star John C. Reilly at the Paris premiere last night
She is clearly a fan of the style and wore the same style of dress in a different colour palette back in September.
And tonight Kate Winslet was radiant in a red as she stepped out at the Paris premiere of her new film Carnage wearing a form-fitting Stella McCartney dress.
The Oscar-winning actress worked the red carpet at the Cinema Gaumont Marignan in the sleek optical illusion shift dress.
Curvy illusion: Kate stuck to her trusty optical illusion dress this time in a red and black combination
The 36-year-old struck a series of provocative poses as the fashionable frock, with its strategically placed black panelling, hugged her curves to perfection.
Looking every inch the leading lady, Kate paired the £2,500 dress with peep toe black heels and diamond jewellery.
She wore her blonde hair slicked back on the sides with the top styled into a pompadour.
The optical illusion dress, from Stella McCartney’s Winter 2011 collection, is known accentuating the best parts of a woman's figure, while camouflaging flaws.
Well aware that it makes her fabulous figure look even more amazing, Kate has stuck with his winning formula.
In September the Berkshire native donned a white version for première of her HBO film Mildred Pierce at the Venice Film Festival.
Midlren Pierce recently earned Kate an Emmy Award and she is hoping for more awards season recognition with her latest film.
Kate stars alongside American actor John C Reilly in Carnage who was also at the première.
The Roman Polanski-directed film tells the story of two sets of parents who decide to have a cordial meeting after their sons are involved in a school yard brawl.
Fitted to perfection: Kate wore a similar Stella McCartney dress in September
Oscar winners Jodie Foster and Christoph Waltz co-star in the comedic drama, although the two were not able to make to the the French capital for the glitzy première.
Based on the French play God of Carnage, the film picked up the Little Golden Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival and it has so far earned rave reviews from U.S.
film critics with The Hollywood Reporter's Todd McCarthy calling it 'deftly acted' while New York Post critic Lou Lumenick described it as 'Fast, furious and often funny.'
Don't be shy: Director Roman Polanski tried to make a quick exit off of the red carpet
Will it be a winner? Kate and her director are hoping for awards season success with their new film
